We’re building a network of veterinarians who want to help expand access to compassionate, affordable veterinary care in Western North Carolina—with schedules that work for them.
You don’t have to be looking for another job to be part of it. Maybe you already work full-time, are easing into retirement, or simply have a few days each year to offer. Whether it’s one day a week, one day a month, or four days a year, your time and experience can help animals receive care they might otherwise go without.
Through Salem’s Sanctuary Veterinary Hospital, participating doctors can contribute in the areas they enjoy most: spay/neuter, wellness and sick visits, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and community cat medicine. We’ll work together to find a schedule and role that fit.
Our Goal: 12 Veterinarians
Twelve doctors, each contributing what works for them, can create something larger than any one person’s commitment: a dependable source of care for our community.
